“What’s up boo? Wait! Why you upset?” Havena asked stepping aside for me to come in. I went straight to the kitchen and asked for a glass of wine.

“What you doing here ho?” I asked Tiara who had two hickeys on her neck. I didn’t even pay attention to her car outside.

“Ho? Why I gotta be all that?” She sipped her wine.

“The first question is why you have hickeys on your neck? We too old for that.” I said pointing to her exposed neck.

“If you must know, CJay did it.” She smiled extra hard.

“It’s hasn’t been that long with us and is it crazy to say, I think I am?” She smiled from ear to ear discussing him.

“Awwwww Tiara. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a sparkle in your eyes.” We Face Timed each other everyday and this is the first time in a long time, we’ve seen her this happy.

“I’m nervous tho.” Havena poured my drink.

“Why?” I asked and sipped.

“I don’t think he’s done messing with his ex and the housekeeper creeps me out.” Havena and I busted out laughing.

“What you mean?” She took a gulp and slammed the glass down.

“Ok. So, he and I had sex all over his house for the first time last weekend. The housekeeper was off, and I cooked for him naked and...”

“Bitchhhhhh.” Havena yelled.

“The best part is, he walked around naked with me. I’m telling you, that man is hung like a horse.”

“Yuk.” I turned my face up. We’ve known him much longer than her and considered him like a brother. We didn’t wanna know what he’s working with.

“Anyway. I’m leaving early Monday morning and CJay is asleep. I walk out and the housekeeper is coming in, sucked her teeth and slammed the door behind me. I tried to go back in, and the bitch locked it.”

“What?” Havena yelled and took a seat.

“CJay has glass all through his house so I walked around the back and saw the bitch going up the stairs. Do you know she went in his room and I stood there for a good twenty minutes and she never came out.”

“Noooooo.” Me and Havena said at the same time.

“Did you ask him?” I asked.

“Nope.” She spoke with finality.

“Why not?”

“CJay never asked me to be his woman and I knew he was sleeping with her before me.”

“Oh hell no Tiara.” Havena took her hand in hers.

“You need to question him on where you stand or leave him alone.” Tiara let her head go back.

“I know but I’m so addicted to him.” She snickered.

“He’s rude, funny, ignorant and underneath all of it, he’s romantic and compassionate. Do you know he picked me up from work a few days ago, had me go home to shower, and took me on a date to the beach?”

“CJay?” I questioned.

“Yes. He had a picnic basket with wine and everything in it. After we ate, he gave me a full body massage and made love to me under the moonlight.
